Gem’s Cleaning & Declutter Services is responsible for the personal information you share with us. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your name, email address, phone number, postcode and the address of the property to be cleaned, along with anything you tell us about your home or workplace when you enquire or book.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, visit and quote for your home, arrange and carry out your cleans, and send invoices. We use your information because it’s needed to provide our service to you, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

Only our cleaning team, who need it to do the work, and the trusted services we use to run the business, such as our website provider, accountant and business software. We never sell your details.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details for up to 12 months if you don’t go ahead with a booking. Client records for up to 6 years after your last clean, for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing cleaningwithgem@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
